The Princess pageants are non-contractual and do not advance to the National level. Contestants will
be judged in formal dress only. The judges will consider poise and confidence, appropriateness of attire, beauty
of face, and overall impression.
Young Miss Contestants ages 8-10 will also be judged in an on-stage interview, which is worth 20% of the overall
score. Questions for the Young Miss Division are very conversational in that there is no right or wrong answer.
Questions are designed to show her personality and things she enjoys, and how she handles answering the question in front
of an audience.
Princess contestants will also have the opportunity to enter optional contests such as most photogenic, modeling, talent,
essay, and more. Optional contests will vary according to age division.
The cost to enter the Kentucky's Princess Pageants is $100.
